The Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery has seating available in our atrium and throughout the art exhibition spaces. Seating configuration change depending on which exhibitions are showing. Seating in always available though.

Music in the gallery can also be turned down or off as needed. Regarding - Do you have a quiet space for parents and children on the Autism Spectrum? While we don't have any specific quiet areas families/individuals are welcome to utilise the exhibition spaces privately or staff can erect privacy screens as needed. Further explanation regarding - Car parking and access amenities Is a drop-off zone provided? Guest can be dropped off at the entrance to the gallery, guests can use the stairs or ramp entrance. Are designated disabled parking bays provided? Yes Is there level or ramped access from the car park to the entrance? Yes, we have a ramp and stair option to enter the gallery. Is the accessible entrance clearly signed from the parking bay? Yes, accessibility entrance and signage is to the left of the accessibility parking bay, there are three ramp entrances for the hotel and one for the gallery. Do you provide details of the accessibility of the closest train stations and of the closest bus or tram stops? No accessibility trains/trams operate in the Cradle Mountain area but guests needing accessibility for the national park have equal access busses available. Accessible taxis are available if booked in advanced. Are kerb ramps in place if a pavement or walkway needs to be crossed? The Wilderness gallery/ Hotel carpark has flat and ramp areas to access both buildings. Is there an intercom system at the entrance of the car park? No.

At the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery food safety is a top priority, we have established strict protocols to prevent cross-contamination at every stage of food preparation and service. All food served at any event hosted in the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery is prepared in the Cradle Mountain Hotel and overseen by our head chef. Procedures include: Segregated Storage:Raw and cooked foods are stored separately in designated containers and shelving areas.All food items are labelled and dated and stored at appropriate temperatures to minimize risk.Dedicated Equipment:We use coded cutting boards for different food categories (e.g., raw meats, vegetables, dairy, and ready-to-eat items).These tools are sanitized between each use using.Personal Hygiene:All staff are trained in proper food handling techniques and must wash hands thoroughly before and after handling food, especially when switching between raw and ready-to-eat products.Gloves are worn when handling ready-to-eat foods and are changed frequently.Workstation Management:Food preparation areas are cleaned and sanitized between tasks and at regular intervals.Separate prep stations are maintained for allergen-sensitive and high-risk foods.Staff Training:All team members undergo regular food safety training, including modules on cross-contamination prevention and allergen awareness.Managers perform routine checks and reinforce best practices daily.Cooking and Holding Procedures:Food is cooked to appropriate internal temperatures verified by calibrated thermometers.Hot and cold holding units are monitored to ensure foods remain out of the temperature danger zone.By maintaining these rigorous standards, we ensure a safe dining experience for all of our guests and remain in compliance with local and national food safety regulations.
