We welcome all guests with disabilities to our check-in location at the Rottnest Island Airport. This includes spectating family and friends of those participating in a skydiving experience. However, please read through the available information in the 'Adventure' section of this document to find out if participating in a skydiving experience is safe and possible for you. We operate a transport vehicle for spectators, which departs regularly from the check-in location at the Rottnest Island Airport to the designated beach landing area, and return. Our 3 x beach landing areas (determined by the direction of the wind on the day) offer very limited accessibility to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Car parking is unavailable, as we are located on Rottnest Island in Western Australia. Car movements are limited on the island. Generally, guests make their way to our location at the Rottnest Island Airport by walking or riding a bike. For safety reasons, wheelchair users and individuals with physical disabilities are generally unable to participate in skydiving. In the rare event of an emergency water landing, guests must be able to put on a life jacket and swim. The Australian Parachute Federation (the governing body for skydiving in Australia) also requires that participants demonstrate the ability to lift their legs for a parachute landing. Additionally, some remote beach landing areas involve long walks on paths that are not wheelchair accessible.
