To ensure guests with fatigue related to their disability are not disadvantaged by long wait times, we prioritise proactive service and minimise delays wherever possible. Check-in and check-out processes can be completed in-room or at a comfortable seating area, avoiding the need for prolonged standing. Guests may request early check-in or late check-out at no extra charge (subject to availability). Event and breakfast times can be staggered to suit individual needs, and we encourage guests to communicate any requirements in advance so we can tailor our service accordingly, ensuring comfort and reducing unnecessary exertion.

We strive to make The Country House at Hunchy as accessible and comfortable as possible for all guests. Our suites are located on the main level, five steps up from the driveway. Once inside, there is step-free access between suites and shared areas. Bathrooms in both suites feature walk-in showers and spa baths with low sides for easier entry. Assistance is available with luggage, mobility support, or tailored arrangements. Please contact us prior to arrival to discuss any specific requirements so we can prepare a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) if needed.
